M4 live updates as lorry crash halts traffic

Hello and welcome to our BerkshireLive traffic blog. Two out of three lanes on the M4 Eastbound have been reopened following a crash involving a lorry.

The incident is affecting road users between Marlborough and Hungerford. The crash happened at about 10.20am this morning, leading to westbound traffic also being held until 10.45am.

After police gradually began to release trapped traffic, just one lane now remains shut.

Congestion remains between the Berkshire/Wiltshire border due to the build up of traffic.
