M25 partly closed near Heathrow after lorry fire – live updates

One lane of the M25 remains closed near Berkshire after a lorry fire. The lorry fire occurred sometime around 9am on Friday morning (June 9) and initially led to all traffic being held.

The closure is affecting the anticlockwise section of the M25 between J16 M40 and J15 M4. Lane one of four is still closed at this time and traffic is continuing to build.

Congestion is now as far aback as J17 A412. It is not yet clear whether anyone has been harmed in the incident but updates will be provided.
