Live: Broken down train sparks chaos between Plymouth and Cornwall

A broken down train has blocked the rail line between Plymouth and Gunnislake. Great Western Railway (GWR) reported the blockage at 1.36pm and warned services could be cancelled.

The train operator also suggested the disruption would continue until 4.15pm. GWR has also confirmed replacement road transport would be provided for stranded passengers.

Taxis have been sent from Plymouth but travel time could be extended by more than an hour. PlymouthLive will be bringing you the latest on this incident as it develops.
