Great Harwood clothing boutique Narazuke set to close
Narazuke, which opened on Queen Street in 2021, is preparing to shut and the announcement has been met with disappointment and sadness.
The final day of trading is set to be June 23 and there will be a sale rail at the site until that day.
The owners say their boutique on Burnley[1] Road in Padiham will remain open.
In a statement the owners said: “It is with a sad heart that I have to announce that the Great Harwood boutique will be closing.
“I would like to reassure all our customers that there will be no changes to our Padiham boutique and we will be continuing to offer our beautiful range of seasonal clothing there. I would hope that our customer base from Great Harwood will come over to visit us.
“Any customers who have any valid gift vouchers will be able to use them in the Great Harwood boutique up until our closing date.
“After that date they can still be used in our Padiham shop up to their expiry date.
“I will be offering a post and delivery service to any customers who may not be able to travel to our Padiham boutique and items can be requested via Facebook messenger.
“We will soon be updating our website to enable you to select items from us.
“We will continue to trade in the Great Harwood boutique with new stock and there will also be a sale rail up until June 23 and would hope that you will come in to see us.
“We would all like to thank you for your loyalty since we opened and have really appreciated your support and custom.
“Thanks also to those local businesses who have supported us.”
After making the announcement dozens of people expressed their sadness.
One customer said: “Sad news I’ve always enjoyed coming in and had some lovely outfits.”
Another said: “I've loved shopping in your little boutique, it was great to have your little shop on our doorstep... I will see you in Padiham."
“Such a shame and sad for our high street,” said another. “Wishing you continued success in Padiham.”
The owners declined to comment further about the reason for the boutique’s closure.
