Forensic officers at scene of Nuneaton stabbing as witness appeal …
Forensic officers are searching for clues as an investigation into a stabbing inside a flat in Nuneaton[1] continues. Warwickshire Police[2] has launched a witness appeal following the incident at Jodrell Court earlier this morning (June 6).
West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed it took a teenager with ‘serious injuries’ to hospital[3] after being called at just before 4am. Police have since confirmed that the victim, who has not been identified, suffered stab wounds to his hands.
In a statement, police have said that they are appealing for any witnesses to come forward after reports were made about a ‘disturbance’ including shouting from the building. It was within one of the flats that the teenage male was stabbed in the hand.
Forensic officers were seen bagging up items in a courtyard between the two main blocks of flats this morning and a police guard remains in place as well as some of the building being taped off.
