Exact time The Flying Scotsman will be calling at Nuneaton Railway …

The exact timing for when the Flying Scotsman will call in at Nuneaton Railway Station has been revealed. As we reported in our newsletter, it is coming to the Trent Valley station tomorrow (Saturday, June 10.)[1][2][3]

Initially it was thought that it would be at the local station around midday but according to realtimetrains on line, the times have changed. According to the online website, it is now due to leave London Euston at 6.48am.

As a result of this, it is now due to arrive at Nuneaton to pick up passengers at 9.39am, As it is picking up passengers, it will be at the station, it will leave at 9.42am. Prior to this, it will pass through Rugby[4] at 8.44am and then Attleborough at 9.36am.

Rail enthusiasts are being urged to grab their cameras to capture the moment. According to the Railway Touring Company, the train will be steam-hauled throughout from London Euston to Chester by steam locomotive No.60103 Flying Scotsman, in what is its Centenary Year.

“The Railway Touring Company is very excited to be working in partnership with the National Railway Museum, Riley & Son and operator West Coast Railways Company for the 2023 celebrations,” said Kelly Osborne, managing director of The Railway Touring Company.

“With kind assistance from all involved, we have designed a programme of mainline steam day tours that will take Flying Scotsman to many parts of England, Scotland and Wales. We hope rail enthusiasts young and old will join us on board ‘The Cheshireman’, for what promises to be a memorable day out.”
