'It's great to see everyone come together'
Following the prayers, chief executive of Green Lane Masjid Kamran Hussain, joined Nathan on our Facebook Live video to talk about today's event.
He said: "It’s always a great event - to see so much of the community come together, to see that level of unity and see everyone together. I’m thankful the rain held out and that's what Eid is about, it's about being thankful to God.
"It’s a big project, we do it twice a year, once after Ramadan and this one after the Hajj pilgrimage. Now, we have a funfair so everyone will be enjoying themselves there.
"There's also a dinner for new muslims at the mosque, we have around 200 people there. This is for people who may not have that wider family network. And, in a couple of days time, we are distributing food parcels to the vulnerable and gifts are being given out at Birmingham Children's Hospital. So there's lots going on. Eid Mubarak!"
