Driver died after crashing into lamp-post and vehicle in Nuneaton
Police have confirmed that a driver died after crashing into lamp-post and a vehicle in Nuneaton[1] late last night. Tragically the man, who has not been identified but is aged in his early 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene in Tuttle Hill.
West Midlands Ambulance Service[2] said that it is believed he had suffered from a medical episode and medics gave him advanced life support but could not save him. A Warwickshire Police[3] spokesman said that a file is now being prepared for the coroner.
“We were called to Tuttle Hill in Nuneaton shortly before 11.30pm last night (Tuesday) following a report of a single vehicle collision,” the Warwickshire Police[4] spokesman said. “Officers attended along with the fire service and ambulance service and found a car had been in collision with a lamp-post and a stationary vehicle.
“Sadly a man in his 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics. A post-mortem will take place in due course and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
