Delays on Fairlee Road after crash near festival site

There are reports of a crash on a main road heading into Newport this morning (Friday).

Emergency services, including police and paramedics, are in attendance on Fairlee Road.

The County Press has been told it has happened close to where parking for the Isle of Wight Festival is.

It's understood a cyclist is involved.

The incident is leading to lengthy delays in the area.

Fairlee Road is currently one-way, meaning traffic can only head towards Newport.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area.
