Appeal following crash on the A9 at Granish junction north of Aviemore
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a crash on the A9 at the Granish junction, north of Aviemore.
The incident happened around 6.10pm on Monday, 19 June, and involved a DAF lorry and a Vauxhall Mokka car.
Emergency services attended and the lorry driver, a 46–year-old man, was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness by ambulance. The car driver, a 53-year-old man was treated at the scene.
The road was closed and re-opened around 4.30am on Tuesday, 20 June.
The car driver was arrested and charged and due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 20 June, 2023.
Sergeant Doug Scott said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch.
“In addition, if you were driving in the area at the time please check your dash-cam footage to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
