Traffic Scotland are still advising motorists to avoid the A9 north of Aviemore following this evening’s crash between an HGV vehicle and a car.
Avoid Granish area, says Traffic Scotland
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sent appliances to the scene from Aviemore, Kingussie, Inverness and Grantown after the alarm was raised at 6.29pm.
They have since returned to base and no details about any casualties have been released by the emergency services at this stage.
Motorists are still being advised to find alternative routes until further notice.
