A woman remains in hospital with serious injuries following a crash on the A525 near to Llysfasi college yesterday afternoon. Police received a call at around 2.25pm with reports of a two vehicle collision on the A525 involving a motorbike and a tractor.

Emergency services attended the scene, which subsequently resulted in a woman being airlifted to Stoke University Hospital by the Wales Air Ambulance. Police said she had suffered "serious injuries".

They are now appealing for witnesses.

PC Einion Huws said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have been travelling along the A525 near to Llysfasi college, Ruthin[2], who may have witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of either vehicle to contact the Roads Policing Unit.”

A spokesperson for Wales Air Ambulance said: "Wales Air Ambulance attended an incident near the Ruthin area on Monday afternoon (22/05/23). A critical care team arrived at the scene at 16:19 and our involvement concluded at 18:04.”

Clwyd West MS Darren Millar said: "I have received a number of complaints regarding this stretch of road and raised concerns with the Chief Executive of Denbighshire[3] County Council just a couple of weeks ago, and now we have had a serious accident on this road. This is a serious problem which needs addressing quickly."
