The GWR, SWR and Elizabeth Line services running on strike days …

Train services in Berkshire are set to be disrupted again this week by rail strikes. Train drivers who are members of the ASLEF union are set to strike on Wednesday (May 31) and Saturday (June 3), with action short of a strike taking place on Thursday (June 1).

Additionally, the RMT union, of which many other railway workers are members, has called a further day of industrial action on Friday (June 2). The disputes have arisen as railway workers seek a better pay deal and improved working conditions.

The strikes began in June 2022 when the first round of industrial action was called and it has continued to this day with railway unions still seeking improvements to working conditions. As was the case with the previous strikes, the upcoming industrial action will lead to a severely limited service on GWR[1] and SWR[2] lines, with some stations closed entirely.

The Elizabeth Line[4] and London Underground[5] services are expected to run as normal. However, they may be busier than usual as a result of the strikes elsewhere.

Listed below are the services that will be running on the upcoming strike days along with the times of first and last direct trains between these stations. All information is correct at the time of publication but some late cancellations and alterations may occur.
