Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney join fans for Wrexham bus …
Thousands of fans are set to line the streets to celebrate Wrexham AFC’s promotion to the Football League later today. An open top bus tour will take place in the city tonight – and Hollywood co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney are set to be there. The club won promotion to League 2 after victory over Boreham Wood at the Racecourse Ground last month.
The parade will also celebrate the women’s team’s promotion to the Adran Premier. There was jubilation in the stadium as the club ended a 15 year wait to return to the Football League. The parade is set to get underway at 6.15pm today.
It will head through the city for an hour before ending at the Racecourse Ground. We will bring you all the latest updates, information and pictures from the parade via our live blog below. Get all the big headlines, pictures, analysis, opinion and video on the stories that matter to you.
