Recap: M4 reopens after lorry and car crash

Traffic is moving again on the M4 westbound this afternoon following a crash involving a car and a lorry. Vehicles were held on the motorway between J16 at Swindon West and J17 at Chippenham. Traffic was halted before 12.40pm, according to traffic monitoring system Inrix.

Inrix reports: "All traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to accident, a lorry and a car involved on M4 Westbound between J16 A3102 Swindon Road (Swindon West) and J17 A350 (Chippenham).All traffic held before 12:40."
