Police name man who died in A16 crash which claimed two lives

Lincolnshire Police[1] has named one of two people who died in a collision on the A16. A spokesperson for the force confirmed that Graham Ross, 34, died when his grey Transit van collided with a second vehicle near North Thoresby[2] on Monday, April 24. Mr Ross, from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, was pronounced dead at the scene by the emergency services.

A spokesperson for the force said on Tuesday, May 9: “We can confirm that the driver of a grey Transit van who sadly died in a two-vehicle collision on the A16 at North Thoresby last month was Graham Ross.” They added: “His family have asked for privacy at this difficult time.” A woman in her 40s, who had been driving a black BMW convertible, also died in the crash. The crash was reported to officers at around 9am on April 24.

At the time, police[4] said they were appealing for witnesses and asked anyone with information to contact Lincolnshire Police, quoting incident reference number 90 of April 20.
