Police hunt driver after girl hit by BMW in Nuneaton
A 16-year-old girl is in hospital after being hit by a BMW in Nuneaton[1]. The driver stopped at the scene but did not leave any details, police said.
Officers are now appealing for any information that can help them trace the car, including witnesses or dashcam or doorbell footage.
The teenager was taken to hospital but Warwickshire Police[2] said her injuries are not life-threatening. The crash happened on Camp Hill Road at around 8.45pm last night (May 27).
The car was described as a black BMW saloon with black alloy wheels. In a statement issued on social media, Warwickshire[4] Police said: “We’re appealing for information following a collision in Nuneaton last night. At around 8.45pm, a BMW was in collision with a pedestrian on Camp Hill Road. The car stopped at the scene but did not leave any details. Any witnesses, please call 101.”
Anyone with further information or who may have dashcam or doorbell footage is also urged to contact police quoting incident number 411 of 27 May 2023.
