Tactical Buyer, McCloskey International

McCloskey International[1] in Dungannon manufactures equipment for the construction, recycling, landscaping and aggregate industries. A growing company, it is now looking to add a tactical buyer to the team.

This person will have responsibility for purchasing raw materials, parts, and subassemblies to meet the firm's production schedule, as well as other tasks including buying consumables and other non-production items, approving supplier invoices and so on.

Applicants should have at least two years’ experience within a tactical buying team, with experience buying steel, as well as at least five GCSEs at grade C or above, including maths and English.

Bar and Waiting Person (Cutters Wharf), Wine Inns

Cutters Wharf is a riverside bar and restaurant in Stranmillis, south Belfast. Wine Inns[3], which owns Cutters, is now hiring a full-time, permanent member of staff.

This is a customer-facing role that will involve taking orders and serving food and drinks, taking and verifying various methods of payment, managing bar stock, and other duties as required.

You'll need at least six months' bar experience, with six months' food service experience a distinct advantage. If you have a working knowledge of the point-of-sale system Micros, that will work in your favour.

Digital Marketing Executive, Power NI

Energy firm Power NI[5] is looking for a digital marketing executive to assist the digital product owner and marketing colleagues within Power NI Customer Solutions Team.

Essential criteria include a third-level qualification in marketing (or a similar field) and over three years’ experience in a similar digital role. You will also need excellent working knowledge of content management systems, and experience of optimising websites to improve customer experience and conversion rates.

Sales Assistant, Wineflair Belfast

The off licence chain Wineflair[7] requires a part-time sales assistant on a permanent contract, for its Beverley Road shop in Newtownabbey.

Naturally the biggest part of the role will be accurately and efficiently processing sales, but you will also be expected to use your customer service skills and product knowledge to drive sales, and to make sure that the the shop is clean, tidy and presentable.

Branch Manager, JP Corry

JP Corry[9] is one of Northern Ireland's leading suppliers of building materials and timber products, and it now requires a branch manager for its Derrylin, Fermanagh site.

This is a wide-ranging role with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy as the successful applicant will have "the freedom to coordinate the day to day operations of the branch to ensure a high performing team".

The firm is looking for someone with a background in sales, operations and people management. You should also have experience using computerised financial and CRM systems and strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.

Operations Manager, Millbrook Lodge (Maguire Hotels Group)

Maguire Hotels[11], which run this beautiful 19th century manor house hotel in Ballynahinch, are looking for an experienced operations manager.

There is a long list of responsibilities, indicating that the day-to-day running of the hotel will be under your control. These range from ensuring the highest standards of guest service are maintained, to maximising profitability in all departments and exercising cost controls across the board.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate at least three years’ experience as a senior manager in a hotel. Experience as a food and beverage manager, operations manager or general manager in a restaurant or hotel could give you the edge.
