A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after a crash.

Officers were called to the scene of a crash at the junction of Upper Brownhill Road, Lower Brownhill Road, and Romsey[1] Road at 5pm today.

This involved a red Suzuki motorcycle and a blue Volkswagen Touran.

The driver of the motorcycle, a man in his 60s, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson said: “We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident or either vehicle in the moments leading up to it.

“If you have information or relevant dash cam footage, please call 101 quoting reference 44230198032.”
