A car was stolen from a home in Portishead[1]. Avon and Somerset Police have now launched a public appeal for information following the theft.

Officers say a black Mercedes GLE350 was stolen from Eastwood Place at some time between 11pm on Thursday, May 11 and 9am on Friday, May 12. There have been increased high-visibility patrols in the area since.

The force are now urging anyone with relevant information to come forward. Those with details are able to speak to police directly or do so anonymously.

Avon and Somerset Police[3] said in an appeal: “If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5223110387, or complete our online appeals form[4].

“You can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form[5]. No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court or have to speak to police when contacting Crimestoppers.”
