Mass brawl outside pub leaves man and woman injured
Police are appealing for information after a large-scale disorder outside a pub in Tamworth. A man was left with a head injury following the fight in Aldergate.[1][2]
A woman received facial injuries in the ordeal which took place in the smoking area of the pub, which cops haven’t named, at around 11.30pm on Sunday, May 7. Officers were called to the scene just after midnight.
Staffordshire Police[3] is now appealing for any witnesses to come forward as they continue to investigate what happened. A spokesperson said: “We are appealing for information after a large fight took place outside a pub in Tamworth.
“We were called at 12.09am on Monday, May 8 to reports a man received a head injury on Aldergate. A woman had facial injuries after she was assaulted in the pub’s smoking area/beer garden at around 11.30pm on Sunday, May 7.”
