Man in electric wheelchair hit by car has died, PSNI confirm

A man in an electric wheelchair who was struck by a car has now died, police have confirmed. The collision happened in Ballymoney on Wednesday, May 3. Police have issued a renewed appeal for information.

A spokesperson for the PSNI[1] said: "The Police Service of Northern Ireland's Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for information and witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision in the Milltown Road area of Ballymoney on Wednesday 3rd May." "It was reported that a man, who was in an electric wheelchair, was struck by a car near to Riverstown Close at around 4.45pm. The man has since sadly passed away.
