Man dies after being pulled from lake in Stourport-on-Severn

A man has tragically died after he was pulled from a lake in Worcestershire[1]. Ambulance crews raced to Larford Lakes in Astley, Stourport-on-Severn, following reports of someone in the water.
An air ambulance[2] from Strensham was also sent to the area just before 7pm on Wednesday, May 17, alongside West Mercia Police.[3] Officers managed to get the man out of the water and found him to be in a critical condition.
Medics administered advanced life support to the man but sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service[5] spokeswoman said: "On arrival, crews discovered one patient, a man, had been pulled from the water by police colleagues and was in a critical condition. "Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life-support but unfortunately, despite everyone's best efforts, it soon became apparent that he could not be saved and was confirmed dead at the scene."
