M6 delays after crash between lorry and car – updates

Motorists are being warned of delays on the M6 following a collision between a car and a truck. Emergency services have been called to the scene on the northbound carriageway between Junctions 16 and 17.

Traffic monitoring system Inrix reported the incident just before 10.55am this morning. As a result of the crash two lanes have been closed.

Currently travel time is around 20 minutes in the area. We have contacted the relevant emergency services for statements on the collision.
