Live A20, M2 and M20 traffic updates as passengers miss ferries at …
Traffic is at a standstill on the M20 towards the Port of Dover[1] as checks are made on lorries to stop drivers trying to avoid Operation Brock to get to port. Bank Holiday traffic[2], Dover TAP and Operation Brock are causing delays on the A20 and M20.
And the A2 Jubilee Way coastbound remains closed due to people heading to the Port of Dover from A258 (Saint Margaret’s At Cliffe/Deal roundabout) One driver earlier reported he had been stuck in traffic for 90 minutes so far on the last kilometre to the Port of Dover. And the town of Dover[3] is once again hit with gridlock, as port-bound drivers try to get to the docks that way.
Roads in Folkestone[4] and the bottom of Hawkinge are also being hit by traffic clogging up the roads. Traffic data site Inrix says there is stationary traffic on the A20 and “stop start” traffic on A2 Jubilee Way.
