Jeep crashes into parked van in Cheltenham
A car collided with a parked car in Cheltenham last month and has caused damage to the vehicle. Gloucestershire Police have issued an appeal following the incident on Thursday, April 20 which happened on Hatherley Lane.
It's reported a silver Jeep Cherokee drove directly into the side of the van and removed the wing mirror and shattered the window. The collision happened at around 7:35am.
Officers are asking anyone who witnessed, or has CCTV footage, to get in touch with them quoting the incident number.
The force's statement said: "Officers are appealing for witnesses after a car collided with a parked vehicle in the Hatherley area of Cheltenham last month. It was reported that the victim’s van was parked on Hatherley Lane when a silver Jeep Cherokee drove directly into the side of it.
"The Jeep continued driving scraping along the side of the van ultimately removing the wing mirror and shattering a window. This happened shortly before 7.35am on Thursday, April 20.
"Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who saw the Jeep being driven in the area before or as the collision happened. They are also keen to hear from anyone who hasn’t already been in contact or has dashcam/CCTV footage which they feel may be relevant."
