Fraser Reeves celebrates 25 years on Newton High Street
Fraser Reeves is a family-owned business that’s been serving the community for more than two decades.
The estate agents formerly traded as John Reeves Estate Agents before changing to its current name in 1998.
The Newton High Street business has seen many changes to the property scene in Newton-le-Willows and has sold many notable residential and commercial properties in the area, including the Kirkfield Hotel and the high street’s former courthouse and police station, now converted into luxury apartments.
The estate agents is estimated to have sold more than 2000 properties in the area and managed hundreds of letting properties for landlords.
Scott Fraser, managing director at Fraser Reeves, said: “We have seen a real change in the Newton-le-Willows market where 10 years ago most of our buyers were locals, but demand has soared and now most of our buyers are from out of the area including Manchester, Liverpool as well as London being attracted to its village feel and convenience rail plus road links.
“We are the longest established independent agent in town and have been trusted with selling peoples’ homes in the Newton-le-Willows and surrounding area for 25 years.
“Estate agency is a really a people business and our success is due to a great team of local reliable, enthusiastic people who are empathetic, listen to our clients and we love helping people.
“We also promote the area at every opportunity and have, tongue-in-cheek, been telling buyers for the last 10 years Newton is the next Stockton Heath and it really is on the way up with an uplifting cosmopolitan feel.”
