There are reports of a crash on the main Newport to Cowes road.

Traffic is heavy in the area this afternoon (Wednesday).

It has happened on Cowes Road.

Southern Vectis route 1 buses are diverting, as a result.

The service is anticipating delays of up to 15 minutes, in both directions.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed it is not in attendance.
