The driver of a car transporter was found to have several driving hour infringements when stopped by police.

The driver was stopped on the M55 near Preston due to driving "in an erratic manner".

Officers discovered the infringements after further enquiries and issues the driver with fixed penalty notices.

A police spokesperson said: "This car transporter seen driving in an erratic manner along the M55 at Preston.

"When stopped enquiries showed several driving hour infringements by the driver who was issued fixed penalty notices."
