A BUS service has been diverted following a collision on a busy road.

Delays are expected in Nether Mayne, Basildon following a collision.

First buses to Basildon have been diverted both ways to avoid the scene.

A spokesman for First Essex said: “Due to a road traffic collision in Nether Mayne, 21 services to Basildon are on diversion both ways along Sparrows Herne and Clay Hill Road.

“Thank you for your understanding today.”
