A person was cut free from a vehicle following a crash on a Cambridgeshire A-road. Emergency services were called to the A605 near Elton shortly before 7am on Wednesday (May 31).
The crash involved a car and a lorry[1]. The road was closed to traffic[2] in both directions while firefighters freed the person.
A Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service[3] spokesperson said: "At 6.51am on Wednesday (31) crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe, along with a crew from Oundle in Northamptonshire, were called to a road traffic collision on the A605 near Elton.
"Firefighters arrived to find a collision involving a car and a lorry. Using specialist equipment they released a male casualty who was left in the care of ambulance crews. The crews returned to their stations by 8.20am."
