WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) -- A Wilmington fire truck got in a single-vehicle crash over the weekend. The truck was heavily damaged when it struck a tree in front of WFD headquarters. There were no injuries reported.

The city is conducting an internal investigation into what occurred.
