RNZ photo Wellington.ScoopDrivers heading through the Wellington CBD faced delays this morning due to another protest action – this one partially blocked traffic at the intersection of Vivian Street and Cuba Street. Because of the protest, NZTA / Waka Kotahi closed the road at the intersection, andadvised drivers to use an alternative route.

UPDATE 8.35amThe protest has been cleared by police and the road is now open.

Delays continue as queued traffic clears.

The DomPost reports[1] that four Restore Passenger Rail campaigners were blocking the intersection and one was glued to the asphalt.
