Six chinooks spotted flying low across Sussex over Brighton …

Six chinooks have been spotted flying low over Brighton. Pictures taken from Kings Road show the helicopters flying in formation near the West Pier. Radar maps suggest the chinooks took off from Lydd Airport in Kent before travelling along the Sussex coastline.

During the exercise, many interested onlookers took to social media to share sightings in Eastbourne, Bexhill, Worthing and Bognor Regis, along with Brighton. Some said their homes “shook” while the six helicopters travelled along the coast. ADB-S Exchange – which monitors aviation flights across the world – states they are from the US Army.
