Latest rail travel update

Train services to and through Gatwick Airport are still delayed, with a number cancelled. However, responses to customer queries from Southern Rail appear to show that some platforms at the station are currently in use. Travel service Inrix said:

Affecting services across the network. A response on Twitter from Southern Rail to one customer read:

Platforms 1 and 2 are fully shut, 3 - terminate from north only and platforms 4, 5, 6, and 7 are available.

The 14:33 service from Eastbourne uses platform 5 at Gatwick so this is still scheduled to run.
