Ramped up police presence at bus station to tackle anti-social …

Police have vowed to ramp up their presence at Dudley bus station amid concerns around anti-social-behaviour. West Midlands Police[1] said it will have more patrols of the station following concerns from members of the community. The force also asked members of the public to report any suspicious behaviour. A number of crimes have taken place at the bus station in recent months.

In October, a man was racially abused[2] before being smashed on the head with a piece of wood. Meanwhile, in the same month, a gang robbed two victims at knifepoint[3] at the bus station. And there was a scene of disorder[4] near the bus station in June.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We are increasing our presence in Dudley[6] Bus Station in response to a number of community concerns over antisocial behaviour.

If you see any suspicious activity, you can report it via our Live Chat on our website or by calling 101.”
