M6 crash leaves nine miles of tailbacks as HGV sheds load

All lanes have now been reopened on the M6 northbound before the Croft Interchange after a lorry shed its load earlier this afternoon.

One lane is still closed near the Lymm Interchange after a car broke down in the queues.

Congestion still extends to junction 19 for Knutsford and delays are still at 50 minutes.
