M25 Darenth Interchange crash: Road partly closed (Image: Google maps street view) Part of the M25 was partially closed this morning (April 19) following a crash between a car and a lorry. The crash took place at the M25 clockwise at Junction 2 of the A2 (the Darenth Interchange).
National Highways were called to the scene at 7.39am and found the two vehicles involved. Kent Police and ambulance crews also attended the crash. There were reports of one injury which Kent Police has said was not life threatening.
One lane was closed while the incident was dealt with and all lanes reopened at 9.08am. There were no reports of significant delays but there was mild congestion reported to be around the scene. A spokesperson for National Highways said: "We were first called at 07:39 and deployed to the M25 anticlockwise at J2 A2 (Darenth Interchange).
"Two vehicles were involved - one car and one LGV. "Kent Police and ambulance attended. "There were reports of one injury.
"One lane was closed while the incident was dealt with.
"All lanes reopened by 09:08.
"No reports of significant delays with minor congestion reported around the scene."
