Live M25 traffic updates as lorry and car crash causes long delays

There are significant delays on the M25 this morning (Wednesday, April 5) following a crash between a lorry and a car. The anticlockwise carriageway is reportedly blocked at Junction 27 with the M11 following the crash which was first reported at around 6.36am. Two lanes were briefly closed as a result of the crash.

Traffic is queueing for around six miles behind the incident stretching back to junction 28 with the A12 at Brentwood creating further significant travel issues for drivers on the M25 this morning. All traffic was briefly held to aid recovery of the vehicles from the road and now all lanes have been reopened. However, travel delays remain on the road.
