Live: A369 Exeter Road closed at Bickleigh after tree falls on lorry

The A396 Exeter Road has been closed off in both directions[1] near Tiverton after a tree fell onto a lorry this morning (April 25). According to reports, the incident happened near Bickleigh Bridge at around 9.11am. As a result, Exeter Road is currently closed from Ashley Rise, just south of Tiverton[2], to the A3072 in Bickleigh.

Locals report that the driver is ‘fine’ but this is unconfirmed. Devon and Cornwall Police[3] has been contacted for comment. This is a live event.
