Indian Railways to begin direct train service to Khatu Shyam Temple: Check details

Now, it will be very easy for people to travel to Khatu Shyam Dham, situated in Ringas of the Sikar district of Rajasthan.

Direct train service to Khatu Shyam is planned by the Indian Railways. The railway has given a go-ahead for the survey of a new rail line that will run directly from Khatu Shyam ji, a revered religious site close to Ringas, to the railway network. The work of this new railway line will be approved after the survey is soon done.

Khatu Shyam ji receives countless devotees each year who travel there on foot, by rail and by road. A report states that everyday, about 30,000 devotees come here for darshan. On the other hand, 4 to 5 lakh devotees are visiting on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

What Railway Minister said?

Vaishnaw told ANI in a statement, "One of the most revered temples in the world is Khatu Shyam Ji. Each year, 50-60 lakh devotees travel to Khatu Shyam ji.

Railway has developed a plan to link all of our cultural landmarks and sacred locations. For Khatu Shyam ji to connect with the railway system, arrangements have been made." "Recently permission has been given for its survey.

We will start work soon after completing the survey," he added.

Where is Khatoo?

Khatoo or Khatu is a religiously significant town in the Sikar district of Rajasthan, India, located 43 kilometres from Sikar City and 17 kilometres from Reengus.

The Sikar district is located in Rajasthan's Dhundhar region. Khatoo village is home to the well-known Khatu Shyam Temple, one of India's most sacred temples. In Rajasthan, the Hindu deity Barbarika is known as Khatu Shyam.

How to reach Khatu Shyam ji?

Both the road and the train make it simple to get to Khatu Shyam Mandir.

Ringas Junction (RGS), which is located approximately 17 km from the temple, is the closest railway station. Right outside the train station, you can find several private and shared taxis and jeeps waiting to take you to the temple. There are several trains that you can choose that reach Ringas from Delhi and Jaipur.

The Jaipur International Airport is the closest airport to the temple. It is about 80 km from the temple and from where you can travel to the temple by road. The Sawai Jai Singh Highway, Jaipur-Sikar Roads, and the Agra-Bikaner Road, also known as NH 11, are the best routes.

Various public and private buses travel between Jaipur and Khatu. However, there are no available reserved seats on these buses. One can take an auto-rickshaw to the temple from the Khatu bus stop.

About Khatu Shyam Ji Temple

The Khatu Shyam ji temple is built of the famous Makrana marble and is located in the heart of town.

The mere sight of the temple provides great mental peace. In the temple, known as Jagmohan, there is a large hall for worship. Its four walls are covered in mythological paintings.

The sanctum sanctorum's door and surroundings are adorned with a silver lining. The sanctum sanctorum contains Baba's head. Sheesh is adorned on all sides with lovely flowers.

Outside the temple, devotees have access to a large grassy area. Khatu Shyam ji is regarded as the God of the Kali Yuga, who will perform incarnation (10th incarnation of Lord Vishnu) or an avatar once the Kali Yuga has reached its final stage; before that, he was worshipped as KhatuShyamji. Shyamji is worshipped in the same form as Krishna because he is synonymous with him.

Winter hours are 5.30 am to 1.00 pm and 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm.

Summer hours are 4.30 am to 12.30 pm and 4.00 pm to 10.00 pm.
