Farnworth: Appeal after robbery at shop on Brackley Street

Officers were called to a report of a robbery on Brackley Street in the town centre at around 3.45pm on March 9. According to police, staff were threatened with a weapon and jewellery was taken from the shop. They want to speak to this man, seen all in black and on a bike, in connection with the incident.

In an appeal this week Detective Constable Rowley, of GMP Bolton[2], said: “We understand this image isn’t the best quality, and does not show a face, but I would urge anyone who may have been in the area at the time, or who may have seen this individual and recognise him, to please come forward. “No matter how small the information may seem, it could prove vital to the investigation.” Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or use the LiveChat on gmp.police.uk.

People can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
