Visitors are greeted by a friendly team in clean, welcoming surroundings. Located just 3 minutes from Junction 40 of the M6, the site offers a large tarmac car park with 24/7 secure parking for up to 140 trucks. The car park is fenced, gated, floodlit and covered by CCTV.
Inside the building, you will find the main reception area, where you can pay for parking, make changeovers and book additional facilities such as rooms or showers. The reception is conventionally located within the onsite shop, which is fully stocked with everything you might need for life on the road, from food and drink to trucking essentials such as toiletries, chargers and PPE. The staff can also order items if they don't have them in stock, ready for collection next time you are passing.
The truckstop offers washrooms and toilet facilities, alongside state-of-the-art showers, which are kept clean and well-maintained. For those staying in one of the five on-site rooms, there is a separate shower and toilet block just a few feet away from the rooms. All rooms are kitted out with a single bed, TV, table, chair and bath towel.
Free WiFi is available throughout the building. The truckstop also benefits from a licensed restaurant serving freshly cooked food, all prepared on the premises daily using locally sourced meats and produce. Portion sizes are generous, and the extensive menu includes daily specials.
All food and drink is available at affordable prices. Just across from the car park is the fuel forecourt, which accepts both UK (Allied Fuels) and Keyfuels cards. The forecourt is open 24/7, 365 days a year, and is accessed separately from the truckstop for added convenience.
