Portion of Irish Road closed for emergency rail crossing repairs

DAVISON TWP., MI — Emergency repairs to a railroad crossing have closed a section of Irish Road in Davison Township, but the Genesee County Road Commission says the work is expected to be completed by the close of the day.

The Genesee County Road Commission announced the emergency closure to thru traffic — between Court Street and Davison Road — in a news release on Wednesday.

Sept 4.

Drivers are advised to allow for additional time to reach their destinations.

The Genesee County Road Commission said CN Railroad is making the repairs to the crossing.
