Freeport, Stephenson Co. leaders meet with Greater Freeport Partnership members

FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) - Freeport city leaders give an update Wednesday on issues affecting businesses and the community in Stephenson County, during a meeting with members of the Greater Freeport Partnership.

Freeport Mayor Jodi Miller, Township Supervisor Patrick Seller and Stephenson County Board Chair Scott Helms attended the session at the Stephenson County Farm Bureau, 210 W. Spring Street in Freeport.

"It's important for a community to be as productive and as well-running and as possible," said Bill Clow, business engagement director for the Greater Freeport Partnership. "All aspects of society need to work together. Business needs to work with government and government needs to work with business."

The meeting was not open to the public.
