M4 junction delays in Swindon after lorry and car involved in crash

There are delays on an M4 junction in Swindon following a road traffic collision. Emergency services were called to Spittleborough Roundabout - more commonly known as Junction 16 - at around 4.30pm today (Wednesday). A lorry crashed into a Citroen C3, turning it sideways in the road.

As a result, a lane is blocked on the approach to Junction 16 from the direction of Blagrove. Motorists face signifiant delays in the area as the incident is dealt with. Nobody is believed to have sustained any noteworthy injuries.
