EVR India's Manesar plant marks a significant milestone as the first manufacturing operation in India for an Israeli automotive firm.

The highly automated plant is designed to provide coils for approximately 20,000 motors per month, with plans for rapid expansion to around 100,000 motors in response to the escalating demand for electric vehicles in the global market. EVR Motors has developed a groundbreaking motor topology known as the Trapezoidal Stator Radial Flux Permanent Magnet (RFPM) motor, which has received 11 patents in the past years. RFPM enables the production of smaller, lighter, and more cost-effective motors which can be tailored to customer requirements.

EVR's current product line consists of four families, ranging from 6kW to 150kW, expanding EVR's markets from two- and three-wheelers to passenger cars, commercial vehicles and offroad vehicles. This flexible motor technology offering has led to the implementation of multiple design adaptation programs for automotive OEMs to meet their specific platforms' requirements. EVR's electric motors exhibit exceptional modularity, supporting voltages from 48V to 800V and meeting various speed and power requirements without major component or process changes.

This innovation underscores EVR Motors' commitment to providing adaptable and sustainable solutions to meet the diverse needs of the electric vehicle market. Furthermore, electric motors manufactured by Tier-1s, utilizing coils from the Manesar plant, will cater to EVR Motors' global clientele, solidifying EVR's position in the electric vehicle industry. EVR Motors has achieved a major milestone with the successful testing and validation of its full range of innovative electric motors.

The company's latest motor series can generate over 150 kW of power from a low cost, compact unit weighing 36 kg. EVR has developed four distinct motor families that offer a wide range of capabilities, including peak power outputs from 6 kW to 150 kW, internal or external rotor topology options, and voltage compatibility ranging from 48V to 800V. These versatile motors are equipped with air or liquid cooling options, enabling them to be tailored for diverse applications and operating environments.

EVR Motors has already signed commercial agreements with important players in the Indian automotive industry, including Napino, Belrise Group, EKA Mobility, and RSB Transmissions.

Under these agreements manufacturing of EVR's motors will commence in 2024, enabling supply of motors across vehicle segments including two/three-wheelers, passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, e-buses and boats. Multiple customers, including well known OEMs in Europe and Asia, are evaluating EVR's motors. EVR Motors has recently appointed Nick Rogers as its new Chairman to spearhead its entry into the automotive market with its electric motors.

Rogers has 40 years of automotive experience and previously held key roles such as Chief Technology Officer at Jaguar and Land Rover, as well as Chief Engineer at Ford and BMW. Among his notable accomplishments are leading the development of the electric Jaguar I-PACE, the fully connected Land Rover Defender, the fifth-generation Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport. The opening of our new manufacturing plant in Manesar marks a major milestone in EVR's mission to transform electric mobility through pioneering motor technologies - said Nick Rogers, Chairman of EVR Motors.

EVR India represents a cornerstone of our business model. By establishing our own production facility for these electric motor coils, we're securing a critical component and ensuring a robust, stable supply chain for our customers. This vertical integration strategy underpins our company's growth plans, not only for India but also for our global operations.

EVR Motors is supported by a group of investors led by Marius Nacht, a prominent figure in serial entrepreneurship, technology companies, and high-tech investments in Israel. The company is headed by its CEO, Opher Doron, previously the manager of IAI's space division and leader of the IAI team responsible for designing and constructing SpaceIL's Beresheet spacecraft. EVR Motors was co-founded by Eli Rozinsky, the current company President and COO, along with Victor Kislev and Ruslan Shabinski.

The company boasts a dedicated team of 45 professionals, including 5 PhDs, engineers, a motor assembly team, and a testing and control group, based in Petah Tikva and India.
