A12 live traffic updates as lorry crash near Kelvedon shuts carriageway
Motorists are facing disruption on the A12 near Kelvedon after a multi-lorry collision heading towards Colchester. The accident is on the northbound carriageway close to Kelvedon. The incident is believed to be between J23 B1024 London Rd (Kelvedon) and J24 (Kelvedon North).
There is congestion to J20B for Hatfield Peverel. Emergency services are claimed to be at the scene. One eye-witness says they have seen two ambulances, two police cars and multiple fire engines travel past the standstill traffic.
The road is currently closed. Motorists are facing long delays with slow traffic all the way back to Witham (J21). This is a live breaking news incident.
