Live: A50 delays after ‘crash between car and truck’

Motorists on the A50 are facing delays this morning following a collision. Images from the scene of the collision on Sideway roundabout appear to show the smash has involved a truck and a car.

Google Map is showing the crash is resulting in congestion on the westbound carriageway between Heron Cross and the A500. There are also delays on the approach to Sideway roundabout from the A500.

The crash has taken place on the roundabout near to the turn-off for the southbound A500 carriageway.

StokeonTrentLive has approached Staffordshire Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service for statements following the collision.
