M18 horror as man in his 30s hit and killed by lorry
A man in his 30s, a pedestrian, was killed after he was hit by a lorry on the M18.
The tragic incident occurred at junction two of the M18 Northbound in Doncaster[1] at 6.41am this morning (Tuesday, January 2). Emergency services attended but sadly the man died at the scene. His family have been informed.
The lorry driver stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries. No arrests have been made. The section of the M18 over the A1 is currently closed, with traffic being diverted to avoid the closure as officers continue their enquiries.
